Set in the a galaxy very very very far away, Space Balls is a parody on Star Wars. There are of course certain elements changed so it's much of an adaption rather than a "funnier version of Star Wars".
The cast is all good, the jokes are funny and the movie is decent no matter what day you see it on. Everyones seen SpaceBalls, so then why the fuck is it here? Well purely because it's a funny film that probably deserves another viewing. Just for it's introduction to Helmet (Darth Vader's counterpart in Brook' universe) this movie is worth watching. Watch out for Pizza the Hut, Barf & Yoghurt.
Recommendation level: 3/5. Funny, very funny.
They don't make funny movies like they used to. You should have a look at Top Secret too :-)
